Very big sheep sale today with 1,027 on offer. Hoggets were well up on our previous sale 2 weeks ago, with many lots exceeding €4/kg and an average of €3.82 in this section. Cull ewes were a strong trade for anything with flesh and averaged €2.25/kg. Sample prices included 3 ewes at 104kgs making €246, 13 ewes at 85kgs making €210, 11 ewes at 91kgs making €184, 6 ewes at 79kgs making €190. In the breeding section, ewes with doubles made to €400 and ewes with single lambs made to €290
