Big sale of sheep with 646 on offer. The first of the spring lambs appeared and these made from €180 to €250 varying in weight from 41kgs to 57kgs. Overall the hogget and cull ewe trade was similar to last week. Very few ewes and lambs today as a ewe and her 2 lambs made €425. Cull ewes averaged €2.29/kg, with fleshed ewes in high demand.
