Big sheep sale today with just short of 800 sheep on offer. There was a lot of under fleshed sheep in today’s sale and quite a number of light lambs also. Overall lambs averaged €3.43/kg, which is back about 10c/kg on last week. Cull ewes were also back a bit and averaged €2.07/kg. Standout prices in this section included: 3 ewes weighing 100kgs made €238, 10 ewes weighing 91kgs made €200 and 15 ewes weighing 76kgs made €180.
