Bigger sheep sale today with 529 on offer and defiantly more bite in the trade. The €4/kg mark was surpassed on a number of occasions during the sale. Culls were also a strong trade and averaged €2.12/kg, with a 116kg ewe hitting €240, a 98kg ewe making €232 and a group of 8 ewes weighing 70kgs hitting €164. In the breeding section, ewes with single lambs & ewes with pairs made to €395.
