Reasonable size sale today of cull cows, heifers & aged bulls with 424 on offer. Some stock are beginning to show the effects of all the wet weather, especially in the store heifers. A good mix of continentals and dairy culls in the cow ring with a limited supply of finished cows. Overall the heifer trade was steady on the week. Cull cows were a shade easier unless they had good flesh. There was a small entry of aged bulls today and these averaged €3.63/kg as a Limousin bull weighing 1,005kgs made €3,900 & a Charolais bull weighing 1,065 kgs made €4,000.
