Calf numbers increasing and these met a fabulous trade today. Sixty percent of the calves available were FR bulls and between farmers and shippers these met an exceptional trade. The lighter FR bulls made €240 to €320 where as the stronger better types made to €430. HEX bulls made to €580 and HEX heifers made to €620 for a red Whitehead heifer. Only a few Angus calves available and these made from €450 to €520. A small entry of cull cows. Quite a number of lighter stock in both the bullock and heifer rings and these were a great trade.
