Good entry of stock with just over 300 cattle on offer, which included 88 calves. Calves held a very fine trade with 3 shippers active. A couple of very strong HEX bulls made €810 and €960. In general HEX bull calves made from €300 to €680 & HEX heifer calves made from €240 to €560. AAX bull calves made to €690 and AAX heifers made to €330. There was a good entry of dairy cull type cows which were all in good condition. Cull cows were marginally better than last week. Mostly young type stock in the heifer ring and more of a mix in the bullock ring of younger stock and aged types. Young cattle very dear especially for dairy cross types.
